In Episode #03 of the Rapido 50 Construction series, Rapido Trimarans’ co founder Paul Koch provides some insights into its folding system.

Paul says, “We’ve solved the only downside (with the Farrier folding system) where, when you fold the boat up, you would get (algae and barnacles) growing on the side of the floats. We’ve solved that by having a canting system that rotates the floats into the vertical position when you fold the boat up.”
