Rapido 40 Racer Trimaran Debuts at Royal Langkawi International Regatta 2026

The Royal Langkawi International Regatta (19–26 January 2026) marked the first competitive outing for the Rapido 40 Racer.

Raced in classic tropical conditions, the week provided exactly what a new performance trimaran needs in her early life: varied sea states, shifting breeze, tight courses, and the opportunity to learn quickly. As with any new race boat, the regatta served as a valuable shakedown and an important part of the development process.

What Langkawi delivered in sailing conditions, it also delivered in visuals. We were fortunate to have some excellent footage and photography captured during the event, showing the Rapido 40 Racer in her element on the racecourse.

We extend our thanks to the event organisers, the competing crews, and the photographers and videographers who documented the week so well.

The Rapido 40 Racer will now head to Europe with the lessons from Langkawi firmly onboard.
