1. Rapido at METSTRADE 2025, Amsterdam, 18–20 Nov. Free Entry

Rapido’s Co founders, Paul Koch & Richard Eyre will join METSTRADE in Amsterdam from 18-20 November, 2025. They will be on our Rapido / Triac Composites‘ Stand (No. 07.525, Hall 7) in the Foiling Technology Zone, showcasing our capability in building T-foil rudders, asymmetric C foils, masts, booms, beams, struts*… and, of course, carbon fiber drawers.
METS is Europe’s biggest trade show for marine equipment, materials and systems in the pleasure-boat / leisure-marine sector.
FREE Entry to METS!
- For a free ticket to METS, please register on this special Rapido/Triac link here.

* Technical Note:
All of Rapido’s high-load, high-performance components, including masts and foils, are engineered by Morrelli & Melvin, specifically for each Rapido model. To learn more about the advanced design tools and processes behind our boats, read the article, Cutting Edge Technology for Multihull Design by Zuzana Prochazka, published in Sail Magazine.
Delightful Side Note:
After raising the T-foil rudder on their Rapido 60 “to sneak into one of those super-shallow spots,” Elayna from Sailing La Vagabonde declared on Instagram last week, “Huge thanks to Morrelli & Melvin and Rapido Trimarans… I freaking love this boat!”
We think that versatility without compromise to structural integrity is pretty freaking awesome too!!
2. Electric. Retractable. Foils. The Future is now.

Electric foiling companies are taking notice of Rapido – and it’s easy to see why. Rapido’s expertise in lightweight, hydrodynamic hulls and foils makes us the perfect platform for next-generation propulsion technology (which is why we’ll be exhibiting at METSTRADE 2025 in Amsterdam).
A number of our customers seem equally fascinated by the shift to electric power.
The owner of Rapido 40 #014 becomes our third to go all-electric, this time powered by ePropulsion’s fully retractable twin X12 drives (supported by two 23 kW batteries and a 6 kW inverter). These innovative retractable drives offer several key advantages:
- Zero drag when under sail
- No snagging on nets or debris
- Independent control; no need for a bow thruster
- Regeneration at the push of a button to lower the outboards
Even if you add a compact generator, the total weight of the electric system is comparable to a traditional diesel setup once the engines, fuel tanks, fuel, and thrusters are removed.
Lightweight. Efficient. Clean. Rapido continues to lead the way in innovation and performance on the water.
3. Rapido 63: 1st Contract Signed; 1st Commercial discussions…

We’re excited to announce that our first Rapido 63 is now under contract! And, like with R40 #014, the owner has chosen to go all electric with twin, retractable ePropulsion drives (two X40s).
We have started tooling on the new Rapido 63 which will deliver dramatically more space, comfort and livability than the Rapido 60. For example, the redesigned main saloon is 1.5 metres wider than the original 60 which unlocks new layout possibilities without adding significant weight.
The result: more room to live and entertain, while retaining the legendary performance and sleek styling that define every Rapido.
Interest now extends beyond private ownership. One commercial operator is already in discussion with us about a “tweaked” day-charter version. It’s an early sign of the exciting opportunities emerging for the strikingly distinctive Rapido 63.
4. Perennial Picomole: 3rd in Rolex Middle Sea Race, now bound for the ARC!

The Remarkable Rapido 53XS, Picomole, has now logged in excess of 27,000NM since she was launched in April of last year. Last month, she took on Malta’s Rolex Middle Sea Race finishing with an impressive 3rd place in the Multihulls Division.
Instead of taking a well-earned rest, Picomole is preparing for the rest of the racing season. Click here to see videos and photos of her sailing to Las Palmas…
On 23 November, Picomole will cross the Atlantic in the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers), starting in Las Palmas in the Canary Islands and finishing in the Caribbean at Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia.
That’s true Rapido spirit.
5. Power Cats too fuel hungry to purr?

A lightweight, purring Power Cat by Rapido, by contrast, is incredibly fuel-efficient, which also makes it ideal for electric propulsion. Diesel | gasoline | inboard | outboard, are additional options.
Whether for private ownership, charter, or commercial use, the R500 ECO and R400 ECO deliver exceptional efficiency and performance. The R500 ECO with twin 80hp diesels
cruises at 12 knots using just 16 litres per hour (total) — that’s only a miserly 1.5 litres per nautical mile. Efficiency is even better at lower cruising speeds. Add a hydro foil for even better performance and economy.
Looking for something more rugged and multipurpose? Ask us about the Rapido 40 Power Cat with hydrofoil or even a fully foiling 40 for next-level efficiency.
Let’s talk power cats that purr.
6. Triac Composites exhibits at VIMOX, Vietnam, 19-21 November

Triac Composites is proud to announce our participation in VIMOX – the Vietnam International Maritime & Offshore Expo 2025, which will take place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from 19-21 November
Triac’s capability ranges from full composite tooling (plugs, molds) to the production of finished composite parts and products.
In addition to the Rapido range of products, Triac’s projects include composite consoles for tugboats, CTVs (crew transport vessels), foils for electric foiling boats and even Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) with a 17-meter wingspan. This showcases the breadth of Triac’s expertise across the marine sector in particular but also industrial, aerospace and defense.
