News

This coming week, from 18-21 November, Rapido Trimarans’ builder, Triac Composites, will be representing our fleet at two major international marine events — METSTRADE 2025 in Amsterdam, Netherlands and VIMOX 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Triac, which honed its expertise in high-performance foils while building our Rapido Trimarans, continues to push the boundaries of marine composites and foiling technology.

METSTRADE 2025 — Amsterdam, 18–20 November

Foiling Technology Zone | Hall 7, Stand 07.525 (see floorplan here)

At METS, Triac will present its capability in robot-machined, autoclave-cured prepreg carbon structures, including:

  1. Asymmetric C-foils (wing-shaped for lift — yes, Triac also builds UAVs with wingspans of 17m!)
  2. T-foils
  3. Masts
  4. High-performance composite components for foil-assisted and electric foiling vessels

These same technologies power our Rapido Trimarans fleet and are trusted by leading international builders developing next-generation foiling craft.

Naturally, Triac will also be happy to discuss the latest developments across the Rapido range, including the Rapido 63 Performance Cruiser, the Rapido 63 Charter, and our Rapido Catamarans (power) line.

VIMOX 2025 — Ho Chi Minh City, 19–21 November

Booth 57 | The Adora Centre, Phuong Tan Son Nhat, HCMC

At VIMOX 2025 (Vietnam International Marine & Offshore Expo), Triac will showcase its broad composite capabilities — in carbon and glass fibre, with a special focus on marine applications.

Highlights of Triac Composites’ expertise includes:

  1. Power Catamarans for commercial, defence, and private sectors (e.g., CTVs, pilot boats, law-enforcement craft, ferries)
  2. Propulsion systems: electric, diesel & gasoline
  3. Composite components for steel/aluminium vessels (e.g., tugboat consoles, gangways, cruise-ship masts)
  4. Advanced offshore structures, engineered for strength and precision, and inherently corrosion-free

All tooling is produced in-house on Triac’s KUKA 7-axis robot, ensuring precision and repeatability across every project.

As an internationally owned company based in Vietnam, Triac plays a growing role in supporting marine and offshore development across Asia.
