To see some fantastic video footage of Rapido 60Romanza, in last weekend’s 100nm SSANZ Lewmar Triple Series Race in New Zealand, click here.

Watch Romanza work her way through the pack before she tracks past a lighthouse (includes distance and close up shots) from 2.37-2.54mins.

At 6.10 mins, Romanza crosses the finish line as the horn sounds. (Video by Live Sail Die.)

Congratulations again to Dougall Love and his crew of one on another successful race. (Nice to be able to race a 60′ boat with just two!)

Rapido 40: Interior Arrangement

Morrelli & Melvin have unveiled a detailed drawing of the Rapido 40‘s interior arrangement.

The interior layout can be viewed from the top, port and starboard perspectives by downloading the pdf document.

A key feature of the Rapido 40 is that the “C” foil daggerboards in the floats remove the need to have a centre daggerboard. That gives us much greater flexibility with the interior.

Meanwhile, work on the Rapido 40’s centre hull plug continues.
